We love World Book Day at Kew Woods and 2K got thoroughly into the spirit this year. It was lovely to see the children dressed up as their favourite book character and taking part in an assembly with poet Ian Bland. The children got create writing their own dragon – inspired writing and even completed a book hunt in the school library! I don’t know how we fit it all into one day. We are looking forward to a workshop on poetry writing with Ian tomorrow.
