This week 3K have been learning all about the Stone Age village of Skara Brae and the historical evidence historians found at this site when it was discovered.

The children worked in groups to act out a TV news report explaining that the unknown Stone Age village had been found one morning following a storm. They needed to use their knowledge of Stone Age homes, tools and lifestyles and include this within their report.

I was amazed by the quality of the news reports, especially how the children were able to apply their new history learning.
