As part of our new topic ‘Survival’ the children will be looking at different everyday materials and their purposes and properties. At the start of the week, the children received a strange email from a man named Professor Jones. He’s in desperate need of help from 2K as he’s stranded in the Congo River Basin and needs shelter from the wind and rain ASAP! Using different materials the children tried and tested what would stand and what would last through the weather to protect Professor Jones. I can’t wait to email him back tomorrow to tell him what we discovered!
