This week we have concluded our Stone Age topic by finding out about Skara Brae, a Stone Age village discovered on the Orkney isles around 100 years ago.
The children used their detective skills to use observations from the site to explain what life was like 5000 years ago.
For example; very few weapons were discovered at Skara Brae leading us to think it must have been a peaceful place to live.
We put the knowledge gained into action when the children role played delivering a t.v. news report about the Skara Brae discovery.
A few budding reporters of the future were in class today ! Well done 3W 👍
